The Newark Bluefins swim team is operated exclusively by parent volunteers. It keeps the registration fees very low. This is the requirement:

1. Each family must work at time trials
2. Each family who competes at Championships must work that meet.
3. Each family must work 5 shifts for each swimmer on the team (maximum 8).

If you select a season long job it fulfills your volunteer requirement regardless of how many swimmers in your family.

Instead of signing up for your volunteer shifts at registration, each family will submit a Meet Availability Form and a Job Preference Form. The volunteer coordinators will assign jobs and shifts based on the forms submitted. Job assignments will be online and distributed at the parent meeting on 4/16/12.
