Crosby's Corner

WOW!!! I think I got a little emotional at the end of the meet and many congratulated me for beating Mission Valley for the first time in thirteen years, but I want to give credit where credit is due. First and foremost the credit should go to all of the swimmers that have been working hard for a very long time. This was a meet that you can truly say every point counted, no matter how big or small. Once again, I would like to say publicly that our eight and unders and our ten and unders made a huge difference in the meet. I can't tell you how proud I was to call myself a Bluefin when I saw everyone on their feet cheering on their fellow teammates. At the very end of the meet was the most exciting race I have seen in our thirteen years. The meet was close, the 15 - 18 boys A relay took it on their shoulders to win. A big shout out goes to Sean T., Domenic L., Adam G., And Sam H., they worked as a team should and pulled out a victory in the final relay of the meet. Our team was crowded around the pool cheering us on to victory, you really came through in a very close race. There were a lot of great swims out there, too many to count, but you should all take a breath and pat yourself on the back, but don't rest too long our season is not even close to being over and there are a lot of great teams that we still have yet to swim.
